The new model Kreos moving column working center, born from the wide experience gained by Fagima in designing and construction of machining centers with moving column. Such a new model has been the result of a long preliminary study phase, before real designing, aimed to resume the best characteristics of Derby and Dominus models. It was studied in every detail to meet the expectations of each potential customer. Kreos approaches to a market segment touched by the largest demand for machines with 5-axis moving column and where obviously the offers of producers are focused.

Fagima therefore in order to offer the most satisfactory proposal, provides in the standard version 2 different alternatives on X axis with strokes of 2700-4000 mm, while 800 mm stroke is on both Y and Z axis. The new tool magazine which moves along the X stroke together with the column, grants a remarkable speed in tool changing, as well as the necessary usability even during pendular operations (available option on both models 270 and 400). The standard equipment is remarkably upgradable and susceptible of large customization with the aim to match all the particular needs of each customer, up to the possibility of extra-strokes on the X axis, the Kreos moving column working center

One of the primary aims in Kreos design was to define a large working area with single access for operator, allowing him easy every kind of operation, even in pendular.
