DERBY 300/400 – 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers

Derby arises from the large expertise of Fagima in designing and producing moving column milling machine working centers. It is studied in every detail using the most modern design and calculation systems. It is characterized by the high rigidity of the structures and the absence of a fall on the Y axis, while rapid and high accelerations allow reductions of the cycle times, especially on large pieces. Available, in standard configuration, in 3 versions with reference to the X axis (220, 300 and 400) , Derby offers Y stroke of 1000 mm, and Z stroke of 800 mm (940 mm with a horizontal spindle axis, in versions equipped with B rotation axis).

The double front doors and the tool magazine moving with the column, allow the execution of pendular machining with extreme simplicity, reducing downtimes in the use of the machine. The rich standard equipment can now also be further expanded with a turning / milling kit (available as an option in Derby ISO50).
